Atletico Madrid Tickets

Posted by admin | By League, Spanish La Liga Tickets |

Buying tickets for Atletico Madrid matches is not easy. The Vicente Calderon stadium holds 55.000 spectators but just 10.000 are for members without seats and for the general public. If you are member without a seat you will have discounts for the matches (about 20% off the price but it depends on the match) and kids always have a 50% discount. There is no discount for the general public (non-members).

The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per person (member or non-member) is 10.

Ticket prices for matches played by Atletico Madrid in the Vicente Calderon stadium are not always the same. Matches are divided into 4 different categories (A, B, C and D). The highest prices (category A) are for games such as the ‘Derby’ between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid whereas matches listed as D have the lowest prices. The prices vary depending on the zone of the stadium.

As stated, the amount of tickets available for general public and members without a seat is much less than the amount of seats taken by Atletico Madrid’s members. However, the new system “Servicio de Cesión de Abono” (free seat) allows members to give up their seats to the club if they cannot attend the match. Atletico Madrid puts them on sale and if somebody buys them 50% of the money he/she pays goes to Atletico and the other 50% to the member who frees up his/her seat.

If you buy tickets for pairs or groups of less than 6 people your providers will try to seat all of you together but this is not guaranteed as it depends on availability.

If you go to Atletico Madrid’s stadium as a visiting fan you will have to sit in the area reserved for visiting fans.
